Friday 29th March – Watch Brisbane to Gladstone Race start then to Sand Hills
The start of the race will be in Moreton Bay off the Shorncliffe headland and the finish will be in Gladstone Harbour. The race is a 308 nautical mile passage race. The warning signal for the race is scheduled to be no earlier than 10:55 hours (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on 29th March 2024.
08:00 Estimated departure time (DANU) to Shorncliffe (approx. 14nm)
10:00 Arrive at start line off Shorncliffe and anchor (stay clear of competitors)
10:30 Monitor channel 67 for the scheduled radio call and move up to 77 to give your location
10:55 Race starts (note different divisions will have different starting times)
11:55 Depart for Sand Hills (approx. 12nm)
16:30 Sundowners on the beach
17:30 Dinner at leisure
Saturday 30th March – Dinghy to Gutter Bar for prawn lunch (HT 1.5m 12:00)
10:00 Depart on Dinghy to Gutter Bar (approx. 3nm)
12:00 Enjoy famous prawns at the Gutter Bar and banter with friends
13:30 Depart for Sandhills
16:30 Sundowners on the beach
17:30 Dinner at leisure
Sunday 31th March – Cruise to Deanbilla (or Myora depending on weather) – Visit Little Ship Club for lunch or travel around Stradbroke
09:00 Depart Sandhills for Deanbilla (18nm)
12:00 Gather on beach to walk to Little Ship Club (or take dinghies depending on weather)
12:30 Easter Lunch at Little Ship Club – music face painting and egg draws
14:00 Depart for yachts

Monday 1st April – Explore Dunwich (or Point Lookout if people want)
09:00 Breakfast on yachts
11:00 Visit the sites at Dunwich including Straddie Brewery (possibly for lunch)
