Dust off your khakis and slap on the sunscreen cause we’re throwing a ripper celebration at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS) for Australia Day 2024! It’s gonna be a fair dinkum Aussie shindig you won’t wanna miss!

We’ve got a sic lineup of activities and entertainment for the whole family. No need to register – just come along in your best Aussie get-up and let the shin-dig begin!

Event Schedule:

8:00 am – 11:00 am: BBQ Brekkie!

Start your day with a BBQ brekkie at the main bar. Enjoy a BBQ brekkie burger, a cup of Granola and your choice of cuppa tea, coffee or a juice to kick the day off in style!

10:00 am: Games Kick-off

Strap on your thongs for some fair dinkum fun! From 10:00am, we’re chuckin’ thongs, balancin’ eggs on spoons, sackin’ up, and havin’ a tussle in a good ol’ game of Tug of War.

11:00 am – 8:00 pm: Bistro Open

For those wanting to take it easy, snag a seat at the bistro between 11:00am and 8:00pm.

12:00 pm: Inflatable Obstacle Course (Adults Only), Live Entertainment and a Jumping Castle

Slide into the arvo with a rip-roaring inflatable obstacle course. And mate, we’ve got live entertainment crankin’ from 12:00 pm onwards. Bust-out ya moves to Aussie classics from ACCA DACCA, Little River Band, Australian Crawl, Mondo Rock, Dragon and Hoodoo Gurus by local band ‘Rewind’. Get ready to bust a move and soak in the true blue vibes.
