This momentous occasion is a tribute to our rich maritime legacy and a celebration of our vibrant community. We invite all Squadron Members to partake in this elegant day of festivities.

Event Schedule:
0900 hours
- Musical Entertainment: Begin the morning welcomed by the Royal Australian Navy Parade Band.
- Morning Tea: Delight in a morning tea in the Bistro – all members welcome.
0930 hours
- Bagpipe Band Greeting: Welcome and arrival of our esteemed Guests of Honour, Commodore Stephanie Moles RAN and Patron Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD.
1000 hours
- Assembly: Officials, VIPs, Members, and Guests to gather for a Call to Order by the Officer of the Day.
1015 hours
- Opening Day Ceremony:
- Commodore’s Address of Welcome
- Blessing of the Fleet
- Official Opening of the 140th Sailing Season
1115 hours
- Fleet Sail Past: Witness the grandeur of our sailing fleet as they participate in the traditional Sail Past.
1300 hours
- Opening Day Festival and Live Entertainment: Enjoy an afternoon filled with festivities and live performances.
1700 hours – 2000 hours
- Late Afternoon Entertainment: Continue the celebrations with more entertainment into the evening.
- Bistro Evening Service: Savor a delightful dining experience at our Bistro.
The day will be an exciting mix of traditional ceremonies, mouth-watering food, live entertainment and surprise festivities that last well into the night!
Dress Code:
Smart Casual throughout the day, however feel free to dress up in your ship’s colours for the Sail Past.
