Windsurfing Courses

Overview

At Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, the exhilarating world of Windsurfing comes to life through two dynamic programs: the “Start Windsurfing” and the “Club Windsurfing” initiative. The Australian Sailing “Start Windsurfing” course is the perfect starting point for beginners, offering a structured program to master the essentials of windsurfing. Participants learn the art of balancing on a board, harnessing the wind’s power, and cruising across the water. For those seeking to practice their skills further, the “Club Windsurfing” program provides an opportunity to refine techniques through a volunteer-run setup. Here, enthusiasts can connect with other windsurfers, share knowledge, and take their abilities to the next level. RQYS fosters a vibrant windsurfing community, empowering individuals to embrace the winds and waves with confidence and expertise. Whether you’re new to the sport or looking to enhance your skills, RQYS has the ideal programs to set you on a windsurfing adventure.
