Most of our function rooms provide harbour views in air-conditioned comfort. RQYS offers a variety of world-class facilities, including:

Boardwalk

Reserve the Boardwalk for a cocktail-style gathering with up to 80 guests. Extending over the Marina, it’s the perfect location to impress. For larger events, you can extend onto the Main Lawn for a stunning outdoor location.

Main Lawn

Flanking the Bistro and Boardwalk and adjacent to the sailing action on our main launching ramp, this beautifully landscaped outdoor area can host up to 1,000 people and has a corner spot perfect for wedding ceremonies

Girdis Room

Offers stunning views of the marina and can seat 200 guests banquet-style, 160 Cabaret or 300 guests cocktail & theatre styles.

Exclusive and private, Flags opens onto a balcony which overlooks the picturesque marina. Flags room can cater for 100 guests Banquet, 80 guests Cabaret,150 guests Cocktail &Theatre style

Located at Manly Boat Harbour and only a short drive from Brisbane’s CBD, RQYS offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, waterfront lawns overlooking the marina and panoramic views across Moreton Bay. Few Brisbane venues can offer the ambience of 140+ years of heritage distilled into 60 more recent years as the pivotal anchor of our harbourside location. The boutique four-star Manly Marina Cove Motel includes the ability to ‘room charge’ food and beverages from the RQYS Bistro and bar, with private car parking included.

GALA AND AWARD DINNERS

Our Auditorium is ideal for communications and presentation events for up to 97 people. Your speaker can enjoy the centre point of the room while ensuring that all delegates have a clear and comfortable view of stage and screen. For smaller groups, our Commodore’s Lounge is the perfect solution for refreshments or as a private breakout room. 

TEAM-BUILDING 

Try your hand at helming your own boat for the first time or test your skills on a stand-up paddle board. Get out on the water under the watchful eye of our qualified RQYS instructors and in no time you can be steering your own course in Moreton Bay! A sailing session is a unique and memorable experience, whether used for staff team-building or for corporate entertainment. We can pitch the session at whatever level is appropriate, depending on the abilities and needs of your guests.
