Wednesday Afternoon GO Sailing

October 03, 2024

WIND: S/E  20+ knts

COURSE: 17 BR

NUMBER OF BOATS: 18

Just 10 mins between the first & last!

The predicted wind forecast of about 25 knots thinned out the fleet to 18 starters and dropped off to just 13 due to some gear failures.

The course was chosen with more reaching and running in mind to make it a little safer and an easier sail in the strong wind conditions.

Good fast speeds had the entire fleet of 13 finish within 10 minutes of each other. Well done our absent handicapper.

The teams for the golf day on the 11th. have been successfully filled.
