Unfortunately due to the adverse delivery window this weekends Heineken Cup has been Postponed. After much canvassing of the Division fleet it was determined that there were insufficient boats able to prepared for the weekend.
The Commodores Ocean Classic Cup Weekend scheduled to commence on the 5th of May is now under consideration as to the format. There is a poll open on the Division Yacht Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1204255389598792/ as to the format of the event, those not in that group can get in touch with the sailing office at sailing@rqys.com.au
Currently there are a number of options for consideration including a Long Race to Flinders Island commencing in the early Twilight on Friday, and the length of the event, either 1 single race or a weekend, are up for consideration.
We welcome any and all feedback and appreciate your patience as issues outside anyone’s control have influenced the planned calendar. www.rqys.com.au/keelboat-racing/
