The Squadron holds reciprocal agreements with a number of other yacht clubs, both in Australia and around the world. You can find the list of these clubs on our website – https://www.rqys.com.au/members/reciprocal-clubs/. Also, through our alliance with the International Council of Yacht Clubs, there are a number of other yacht clubs who will be more than happy to welcome our members to their facilities.
If you are travelling interstate or overseas and would like to visit a particular yacht club please call our Reception – 3396 8666 or E: reception@rqys.com.au and they will provide you with a Letter of Introduction for your visit.
One of reciprocal clubs is the Royal Victoria Yacht Club in Canada – The Royal Victoria Yacht Club was founded in June 1892 and is the oldest yacht club in western Canada. Their main clubhouse and marina is located on the protected waters of Cadboro Bay while their Tsehum Harbour marina is located in the nearby town of Sidney. The club promotes yachting, boating, navigation, seamanship and offers racing events, cruising excursions, moorage, kayak & stand up paddle boards rentals (free of charge), dining, themed events and much more. The Royal Victoria Yacht Club is fun for kids from two to one hundred and two.
