The 12th Club Marine Brisbane to Keppel Tropical Yacht Race will be the second offshore event run by RQYS in 2018. The race will run from Manly QLD up to the tropical waters of Keppel Bay, Yeppoon QLD. Brisbane to Keppel will be a Safety Category 2 event, with around 30 yachts competing.

This year the event will be run differently to previous years – the race will consist of eight (8) stages where yachts are scored for each stage, based on their elapsed time between the designated gates. This change will only be applied to the PHS (Performance Indicative) results. This new initiative promises to give yachts more opportunity to perform well, with 8 chances, rather than 1, to be successful in this even

NOTICE: For boats needing more SSSC
There will be a course recognised by RQYS as equivalent to SSSC, run by QMTS at the price of $600.00 on 28 and 29 July 2018. If anyone would like to enrol, please contact QMTS directly.

QMTS is located at RQYS in Manly, QLD.
Call: (07) 3393 6225

The live tracker will be available to watch for the duration of the event. The 2017 Club Marine Brisbane to Tropical Yacht Race was a huge success, with 35 entries, including American Yacht, Dorade, which travelled to Queensland, AUS, to participate.
