Following on from a successful fundraising night for Making Waves, Rob Brown, renowned sailor and RQYS Business Development Manager, honoured his commitment to go sailing with the highest bidder on the night for the “Go Sailing with Rob Brown Prize – Making Waves Foundation”.
“The foundation is for children living with disabilities, our yachts provide a stable, inclusive platform that accommodate all, including wheelchair users.”
The successful bidder on the night was Sandy Grant. He was joined by two of his crew aboard the yacht Ignition, kindly provided by Anton Prange and Paul Thomas from Yacht Share.
The day involved a morning coaching session, a nice lunch at RQYS and then back out on the water for the WAGS race.
