The weather set the stage for an exhilarating two days of racing at the 2023 Sail Brisbane. With a fleet of over 200 boats navigating three distinct courses, the bay buzzed with non-stop action. The regatta featured the Queensland State Championships for the Formula 16/18 Catamarans, the VX Ones, and the OK Dinghies.
The Sail Brisbane event reached its pinnacle, culminating in a vibrant gathering at the Girdis Room, packed with participants, their families, friends, supporters, team members, crews, volunteers, and staff. This year’s edition stands out as quite possibly the best Sail Brisbane ever!
The weekend unfolded as an extraordinary experience, attracting competitors from both near and far to engage in this world-class event hosted at RQYS on Waterloo Bay.
Rear Commodore Todd Anderson took the stage to present the awards, with the esteemed presence of CEO Karen Baldwin, Sailing Manager Mark Dingley, and Volunteer Coordinator Phil Tooth. Austin and Rose, stalwarts from the Sailing Office, skillfully managed the distribution of the well-deserved awards.
