WAGS REPORT

DATE: 10th. June 2026

WIND: E 8-10 knts

COURSES: 18CR

NUMBER OF BOATS: 24

Due to the inclement conditions Course 18CR was chosen, an anti clockwise circumnavigation of Green Island.

Visibility was down to about 500 metres and when the fleet disappeared into the mist the Race Officer was glad of the AIS to keep tabs on the location of the fleet on the other side of the Island.

It was noted that Anton chose a larger vessel to keep dry rather than fight it out with a very wet Jester.

A new strategy was conceived by one of the well known multihulls to hide the start pin between their hulls and carry it around to make their own finish line. “Frankly my Dear” that didn’t work.

The short course made for an early finish so the presentation was short on people but flush on sausages.
