Conveniently located on-site at RQYS, QMTS Training have been delivering training to Commercial Marine Industry for over 10 years, 6 of which have been spent operating out of RQYS.

The wonderful trainers at QMTS Trainers are excited to pass on their wealth of experience and knowledge in commercial and recreational boating to members and bona fide visitors in their new Recreational Boat and Jet-ski Licensing courses.

The licencing courses will be run every 2nd am 4th Thursday and 1st and 3rd Sundays.

All the theory component of the course is completed on line before coming to the training venue (Log-in details will be emailed once course enrolment has been completed)

A short theory exam will be conducted before completing the practical component.

QMTS Training is located within the premises of RQYS.

Practical training/assessment will be carried out on a 5.5m rubber duck and a Jetski with in Manly Boat Harbour and Waterloo Bay – weather permitting.

The course cost is as follows –

  • Boat Licence – $275.00
  • Jet Ski Licence (you must already have and RMDL) – $275.00
  • Both courses together – $500.00

As an introductory offer QMTS are offering to give a 10% discount to all students until the end of October!

In addition, RQYS members will receive a further 10% discount!
