With the decision by Australian Sailing to re-commit to send a team to the World Sailing Youth Worlds, the opportunity for our youth sailors to compete for selection has arisen.  

With the timing of the qualification regattas set for September and October and the actual Worlds scheduled for December in Portugal, the RQYS Sailing Committee is calling for those that are intending to compete for selection to submit an application for funding assistance through our athlete support trusts (Wyuna / John Harrison Foundation).  These will be considered out-of-round to ensure that funding availability will be timely with respect to the regatta timetable.  

Both selection regatta and Worlds funding may be available with the latter dependent on final confirmation of selection by Australian Sailing.
