The RQYS community came out in droves on Easter Sunday to celebrate our annual Kids Easter Party! Between the face painting, colouring-in competition, Easter bonnet parade and the bouncy castle, there was no end to the activities for the kids! To top off the egg-celent event, the Easter Bunny cruised in on one of Yachtshare’s gorgeous boats (thanks Anton) to the squealing delight of the 60+ egg-cited kids attending the party! The weather gods also came to the party, bringing the most gorgeous, sunny April day which allowed parents and grandparents to enjoy our new and improved Boardwalk extension – ahead of it’s official opening this coming Friday – as they watched the kids hop from one egg-citing activity to another.

A special thanks goes out to our wonderful volunteers who donated their time and energy on Sunday – without them this event, as is the case with all of our others, wouldn’t have been possible.

Thanks to:

Ian & Shelley Thomason

Richard Duffel

Trish Brewer (our incredible Easter Bunny who managed to delight the kids despite nearly melting in the bunny suit on such a warm day!)

Margie Harris

 You’re all good eggs!
