Friday 30th January saw the first “Young Adult Sail & Social” take place in the Squadrons Elliott 6 training boats. Twelve young adult sailors (including Members, Non-members and RQ Staff) came together for a socially competitive session where five, two lap, windward leeward races were completed.

The goal of these sessions offered by the Squadron’s Sailing Academy is to bring Young people (18-30 yrs) together for low-cost sailing opportunities that keep them engaged on the water and around the Squadron. Following sailing, all found their way back to the clubhouse for Sundowners by Bar. Overall, a fun afternoon and we look forward to seeing you at the next one.

The next session is set to be Sunday 22nd Feb, again in the RQYS Elliott 6’s.
