‘Whole of Fleet’ Safety Auditors for Yachts
In line with our ‘Whole of Fleet’ Safety Equipment Auditing we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced sailors who may wish to become Safety Equipment Auditors.

A National Equipment Auditor – Should be a yacht owner who has had experience racing in SR category 1 or 2 races.
A Club Equipment Auditor – Should be someone who has had experience racing yachts at club or national level.

There are two steps you need to take to become an accredited auditor:

  1. Approach your club about representing them as a CEA or NEA then obtain a Letter of Endorsement.
  2. Attend the auditor’s seminar where attendees will complete the course and jointly complete the exam

The next seminar will be on the 19th October 2019 at RQYS. Please get in contact with the RQYS Sailing Office by emailing sailing@rqys.com.au to confirm you attendance and eligibility.
