WAGS REPORT

DATE:  6/5/2026

WIND:  SE 10-15 KNOTS

TIDE:  H@11:56-1.68M

COURSE: 1C

NUMBER OF BOATS: 29

There were 25 regular Wagers doing Brisbane Race Week, so it was amazing to see our fleet number so high. Great job! Running 2 pursuit races virtually at the same time was a challenge, however all worked out well in the end. The original Wags course was a great go to and I know enjoyed by all.

A blast to the Green Island western cardinal on a quick reach, between Green and St. Helana Islands and a tough work leg to Hope Banks. The breeze was a little more than forecast so it was probably 20+ knots across the decks. A starboard rounding at Hope and the fleet nearly caught the BRW fleet on the finish line. Very cool.
