WAGS REPORT

DATE: 24th June 2026

WIND: SS/E 15-18 knts

COURSES: 1B

NUMBER OF BOATS: 42

At last, a decent breeze and a making tide made for a great race. Good speeds where attained by the fleet closing them up making it challenging for the finishers to record it.

The first 4 vessels to finish were less than 3 minutes apart. Can one say great handicapping

Course 1B is almost 12 nautical miles and was completed by the entire fleet in under 2 ½ hours.

Paul and Nelly will be back from their holiday next week and congratulations must go to Robby Smith as stand in Race Office for the duration.

In Rob’s enthusiasm at presentation he overlooked mentioning our wonderful sponsors for WAGS and has asked to include his apologies.

We take this opportunity to again thank them for their support and remind those sailing in WAGS of them.

Yacht Share, Adam Dobson, The Yacht Sales Co. , Australiawide Yacht Sales, Muir Marine, Rope Solutions, Windcraft and Robert Oatley.
