Start Racing

Course Overview

This course is an introduction to sail racing, and is for those who have completed Start Crewing & Helming, or those who’ve acquired sufficient experience and understanding elsewhere. For ages 16 – adult.

This course is only run subject to demand to please contact the Sailing Academy at 3396 8666 or sailingacademy@rqys.com.au 

Course Prerequisites

Water confident and the skills, knowledge and experience gained from the Start Helming and Crewing courses, as well as the Spinnakers course.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Australian Sailing Start Racing completion certificate.
