The Past Commodores Cup Navigation event was run on an absolutely sensational Saturday afternoon which made for a low scoring competition. After the boats ran the local course around Green Island, most came back to Manly mooring at the Squadron’s Bill Kirby VIP jetty for a few sundowners while the results were calculated. The beautiful boat Scotia, well-known to the Squadron & Navigation events was back competing with new owner and first time competitor James Tuma. We have video evidence that James and his crew had a great time running the course and they took out the Rookie prize.
The results for the GPS competition –
1st place – North Light-P/Cdr Denis Land 9 points
