Earlier this month we held a Morning Tea for some of our older members, affectionately known as our ‘Old Buffers’, who may have lost contact with their fellow members with whom they used to sail or were acquainted with in their younger days at the Squadron. P/Cdr Richard Crooke, Grant Somerville, Dugald Henderson and Mike Burke were the instigators of the get-together and enjoyed the company of fifteen or so of our long standing members for the inaugural event. They all enjoyed a lovely morning and catching up with their mates with a surprise welcome by Commodore Mark.
Another ‘Old Buffer’s’ Morning Tea will be held early in the new year. If you would like to join the group please contact us and we will let you know the date once it is scheduled.
