In partnership with Yachtshare, the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron invites the public to the upcoming Winter Get Onboard Expo (GOBE). Our first event for 2026, we have seen the Get Onboard Boat Expo grow from strength to strength since its inception in 2024 to become Brisbane’s only boat show. Review this article following the Winter event held last June.

Held on the prestigious grounds of Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, the Get Onboard Boat Expo – Winter Edition, is primarily focused on-water berth displays with some smaller watercraft and on-land displays ranging from Kayaks to Trailer Boats, Windsurfers and Inflatables.

This public event celebrates the boating and marine lifestyle, providing an excellent platform to connect with boating enthusiasts and water lovers everywhere!  Also being held during the Boat Expo, our Treasures from the Bilge Carboot Sale is the place to buy and sell your unwanted boating bits and bobs – from fenders to anchors, rope to boating books – it’s time to empty your garage of all those boating bits and fill your carboot with items for sale to the General Public.

With loads more in-store for the Boat Expo, including displays, racing, marina jobs presentation, live entertainment and plenty more, you can’t afford to miss this free event at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.
