A huge well done to Squadron Volunteer David Kemp who has been awarded the national Volunteer of the Year award at the Australian Sailing awards.
An amazing, and well earned, achievement for “Kempers” who has been a regular feature on Race Committee boats for decades.
David will hardly be resting on his laurels, starting tomorrow he will be on the Start Boat team for the 2018 Etchells World Championship.
A former General Manager of the Squadron, David has made the Squadron his passion, and gives his time every Regatta without fail.
