Conclusion of Term 4 Fleet and Teams Racing – Report from last race day

Sunday 18 November marked the final race day of the Term 4, 2019, Schools Fleet and Teams Racing competition. The morning’s Fleet Racing was called off after one race, as the wind picked up and conditions on Waterloo Bay grew too harsh and unsuitable, AP over A was hoisted on the water and all boats were brought back in. Teams Racing in the afternoon was then postponed for an hour to monitor the wind and keep an eye on the strong gusts coming through the bay, hoping to reassess and head out for one last round robin. Unfortunately we had to hoist N over A meaning racing was abandoned.
