The Board would like to call for “Expressions of Interest” for two (2) members to join a Constitution Review Working Group who will be tasked with providing recommendations for amendments to both the Constitution and ByLaws.  The group will also include at least one Board Member and someone from RQ Management.  Members who are interested should have some experience in the development and oversight of Club Constitutions, have worked or experience in a membership environment, understanding of good governance and a legal background would also be beneficial.

The goal is to have a draft version of amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws presented to the Board of Directors in March 2026 for initial review and then finalise for approval by Members as a Special Resolution at the Annual General Meeting in July 2026.

To achieve this timeline, the Working Group will need to commit to meet initially in November 2025 and then provide feedback on suggested sections for comment by January 2026 with another workshop/meeting in February and March 2026.

This timeframe is necessary for changes to the Constitution to be considered in time for the 2026 AGM.  If further changes are recommended, this group may continue to meet following the AGM.
