We apologise for delay in updating this information to our Members following announcement at the recent AGM, and now confirm the following including the appointed Chairman:

  1. David Redfern, Chairman
  2. Melissa Hardy
  3. Nigel Spork
  4. Andrew Northcott
  5. Ben Barnes, Treasurer
  6. Curtis Skinner, Commodore
  7. Todd Anderson, Vice Commodore
  8. Chris Land, Rear Commodore

We thank and congratulate the above members on their election, and also our sincere thanks to the unsuccessful candidates, James Tuma, Ken French & Bob Bishop who we are sure will continue to support the Squadron in all our future endeavours.

We also want to take this opportunity to advise members that Board Member Chris Tyquin has made a decision to resign from the Board due to persistent and ongoing health issues along with business pressures, and his resignation was accepted and confirmed at the Board meeting on Tuesday 24th August, effective immediately.  Chris did not make this decision lightly, and stated that he was honoured to have the opportunity to fill the role since his appointment in 2022 and serve the membership in the best interests of the Squadron and the new governance model.   We owe Chris our sincere thanks and gratitude for his time and efforts since his election.

Obviously, this means that there is now a ‘casual vacancy’ on the Board and steps will be taken to fill that role in accordance with the Squadron’s Constitution as soon as practically possible.  Members will be kept informed as this progresses.
