Wonderful 26’ trailer sailer in good condition, ready to go for summer, designed by Australian naval architect Len Hedges. Built in 1990 was in the same family for the first 25 years with a shipwright owner. Successful racing and cruising boat professionally built in robust aluminium, hydraulically operated 400KG swing keel with manual pump in cockpit, internal lead ballast set in resin, swing rudder, will float in 300MM of water and sit upright on the sand on her flat centre section. Hull recent professional repaint.
Lovely professional timber fit out, fully lined. Sleeps 5 with approximately 1.65M headroom, vee berth forward (with lots of storage under), with infill and extender for 2 full size people, 2 long quarter berths, 1 long settee berth (all with storage under), thick upholstery in good condition, timber cabinetry along the cabin sides providing storage and comfortable back rests.
Useful sized galley with gimballed 2 burner metho stove, sink and hand pump for the built in 56 litre water tank (plus 3 X 10 litre water containers), 2 fire extinguishers and fire blanket. Drawers for cutlery, crockery, cups and pots and pans. Centre board case has folding tables on either side, 80 litre Evercool insulated icebox, (wiring for a 12-volt fridge is installed). Manual Jabsco Mark 111 marine toilet with holding tank (never used).
Professionally wired, all LED lighting with 2 X 70 AMP batteries with battery and isolation switch. A new 80-watt solar panel with solar controller on robust transom mounted adjustable stand, a smaller solar panel is fitted when the boat is unused for battery maintenance. GME AM/FM stereo and CD player with USB/ mini data card input and 4 speakers, 12-volt fan, Uniden VHF radio with cockpit speaker, Raymarine ST1000 tiller mounted auto-pilot. Plastimo 101 bulkhead mounted compass, Lorenze 7-inch chart plotter on swivel bracket, GME MT600G EPIRB, inshore flares, V sheet, signaling mirror, 4 life jackets, horseshoe float, Henderson large capacity manual bilge pump.
The cockpit is self-draining and has 4 lockers, 1 for stern anchor, 1 for fishing gear and tools, 1 for fuel and 1 large locker for ropes, buckets, etc. Main anchor 20LB Manson plough, 8M of 8MM chain, 30M of 10MM rope stored in foredeck anchor locker. Stern anchor 6KG Danforth, 6M of 6MM chain, 30M of 8MM rope. 15HP Yamaha 2 stroke long shaft outboard in excellent condition, spare propeller and fuel line with 1 X 13 litre tank and 3 X 10 litre fuel containers.
2 winches on cabin top with 13 clutches for halyards, reefing, topping lift, vang, 2 sheet winches on cockpit coamings. Cruising full battened mainsail with 2 reefs, cruising self-tacking jib on furler, full battened racing mainsail, racing genoa on a furler, 4 spinnakers, 2 spinnaker poles, boom awning.
Registered galvanized multi-roller tandem trailer recently overhauled with new rear axle, 4 new stainless steel electric hydraulic disc brakes, new breakaway system, new bearings, new hydraulic pipe, new electrics, new application of POR 15 rust preventative paint system on trailer rear section, new wobble rollers on cradle which centers the boat on the trailer upon retrieval, rubber torsion suspension, bearing buddies fitted with Powerwinch 912. Second remote-controlled winch which can retrieve boat but is used for mast raising. Aluminium walkway down trailer, LED lights. Weight on trailer approximately 2300KG.
