A message from Canaipa…

As your new caretakers at Canaipa, we want to express our sincere gratitude for the incredible warmth you have all shown us since our arrival. It is an absolute privilege to both live and work in such a spectacular environment. We now know why it’s called the Jewel in the RQYS crown.

From our very first day, we have met some truly amazing people. Everyone has been exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We have deeply enjoyed listening to the rich history of the area. Hearing your stories makes us even more excited to be part of such a beautiful place.

We have also been completely overwhelmed by your generosity and the amazing food shared with us. From incredible seafood like barramundi, prawns, mud crab, and Moreton Bay bugs to wonderful classic roasts, a lovely cheese platter for my birthday (Erica) and an exquisite Mudgee wine, you have all made us feel so welcome.

We are extremely excited to be a part of all the upcoming events planned for the year. We truly look forward to making new memories, crossing paths with the members we haven’t met yet and welcoming guests.

We feel incredibly fortunate to be here. Thank you all again for opening your community and your hearts to us.

With our warmest regards and appreciation,
Erica and Peter
