• Members intending to drive by car have queried the availability of fuel. Although some service stations have been out of fuel at times, those occurrences mainly affect rural areas. If you travel along the coast to the outskirts of Sydney and then on the M31 to Albury you are unlikely to encounter any fuel issues as these areas are well supplied and lots of people commuting along these roads.

This is a cruise with a difference, a Land Cruise with a nautical theme. The cruising group now has 4 vessels with owners based in the Albury-Wodonga region and this cruise offers an opportunity for a group visit to North East
Victoria at a time when the autumn colours are at their best. We will hire a minibus and visit a number of wineries in the North East Victoria wine region. Wine tastings at each winery and grazing platters in between will make for a great day out. Our Saturday evening dinner will be followed on Sunday by a historical towns tour, one or two wine tastings, an attempt to fit the group into Victoria’s smallest pub and an end-of-cruise dinner with a quiz.

Important: If you intend to participate in this cruise book your flights early as the direct flight sells out quick. As of today (14 Nov 25) the return flight is $530 per
person. Alternative flights are available via Sydney.

Cost: Apart from flights and accommodation, we will share the cost of the bus hire. Wineries normally charge a small tasting fee which is refunded when purchasing wines. Most wineries offer to ship purchased wine to your home.
