After a forced postponement in March due to Tropical Cyclone Alfred, the 2025 Brisbane Women’s Keelboat Cup finally went ahead, and while the cyclone was long gone, Mother Nature still had a few tricks up her sleeve.

Across both race days, the race management team was repeatedly teased by the promise of breeze, only for the wind to shift just as the line was set. Despite the light and variable conditions, competitors showed true patience and persistence, embodying the spirit of the event.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to all who joined us, including those who travelled from Fraser Bay, Southport Yacht Club, and Wynnum. Your dedication and enthusiasm helped make this weekend more than just a regatta, it was a celebration of women’s sailing, community, and connection.

Until next year, thank you for being part of something special on Moreton Bay.

Thank you for the generous support of our Sponsors:

A huge thank you goes out to the RQYS Volunteers for coming out and braving the cold.
