Every Friday night and Sunday lunch, RQ provides quality live local entertainment.  This creates a relaxing and entertaining atmosphere for members and visitors.

We have also started hosting live shows and events.  After successfully hosting several tribute shows including, Blues Brothers and Killer Queen, we decided to introduce live touring artists.

It is my focus to grow this vision and create a venue that can host the best that Australia has to offer.

We have been focused on creating numerous other exciting family friendly events including, the Family Easter Day, Australia Day, St Patricks’ Day and Oktoberfest to name a few, to create social activities off the water for our members and visitors to enjoy.

The Harbor View Restaurant – Manly’s Hidden Gem!  RQYS Harbour View

The Harbor View Restaurant has proven to be popular to both Members and Visitors.  With a million-dollar view and a seasonal menu, this restaurant is cementing its place as one of Bayside Brisbane’s best restaurants.

With fresh, quality produce, our Executive Chef Simon Watters creates, stunning modern Australian dishes.  His menu changes seasonally to keep the food at RQ current and exciting.

Leading the team out the front is our Restaurant Manager Melissa McDougall.  A chef by trade, she decided to switch sides and dedicate her passion for hospitality in making members and visitors experiences memorable.  Her dedication and attention to detail will make your experience complete.

The Harbor View Restaurant trades Wednesday to Sunday for both lunch and dinner. Bookings are essential.  Why not let us take care of your next special occasion.

RQYS Flags Celebrations        Functions with a view.

The Functions facilities have grown significantly over the past three years.  With the inclusion of the new Club House building, the function space has more than doubled.

The Commodore’s Lounge, a charming room situated at the front of the building, has all the amenities that you would require.  Private bar, air-conditioning, large screen TV and multimedia facilities.  The room is designed for groups of 20people or less.

The Girdis Room is our largest function space.  This grand room frames a 25m breathe taking view of the harbor.  It contains a private bar, air-conditioning, multiple large screen TV’s, built in projector and multimedia facilities.  This room is designed for large groups of 300people or less.

The Auditorium, a theatre style room designed for businesses. It contains our largest screen, with built-in projector and multimedia facilities.  This room is designed to cater to groups up to 90people or less.

The Flags function room is our oldest space and some would say our most soulful room.  Located on the second floor of our original building, the Flags room has a balcony that wraps around the entire space and a world class view overlooking the marina.  It contains an exclusive bar, kitchen facility, built-in projector, screen and multimedia facilities. This room is designed for large groups of 150people or less.

Ceremony facility, located between two giant palm trees, this ceremony area is one of Brisbane’s absolute water front locations.  With breath taking views of the Marina, this location can be transformed to make your special day one to remember.  Due to the size of the area, it can cater to extremely large groups.

It is one thing to have the facilities, but is more important to have an experienced team of professional staff to make your needs and dreams come to life.

For many years, the Functions department was solely run by one of our Functions Managers Belinda Annan.  Belinda brings experience and a level of detail that has seen so many successful functions.

Recently, the functions team has grown to include our second Functions Manager Jessica Walmsley.  Jess is a creative and an experienced manager that has dedicated her working career to hospitality.  She is creative and brings a new outlook to this area.

The opportunities are endless.  For Conferences, weddings, birthdays or any other special occasion with a view, why would you go anywhere else.

Over the past 16 months additional changes have been made in the Bar / Café area also.  We have taken a lot of feedback on board and have changed and expanded our food and beverage options.

We now trade 7 days per week, opening from 8am daily.

There are now dedicated and competitive takeaway facilities for Members.  This includes your favorite beverages and ‘made fresh daily’ food options.

We have expanded our product range in the bar to include a seasonal wine list, a variety of takeaway products displayed in our takeaway fridge, located at the end of the bar and have improved the variety of products that we have on offer.

We have built a new coffee area to introduce two new coffee machines and a coffee bean from a Melbourne based company, Mocopan.  Coffee has tripled in volume since introducing the new bean.

Our biggest achievement in this area is our ‘new’ Monday to Friday breakfast menu and our All-Day Dining menu.

As a Member or Visitor, you can now enjoy breakfast with us, 7 days a week from 8am till 10am.  A specially designed menu has been created for all to enjoy.

Our All Day Dining menu has given Members and Visitors a larger variety of quality food at any time of the day.  This has proven to be extremely popular on sailing days.

Food and Beverage at RQ has grown significantly.  We have opened our doors for longer, expanded our product range, deliver fresh, quality product and have a dedicated professional team of staff available 7 days.
