The RQYS Food & Wine Fair is back again for Spring 2024! Join us for an unforgettable afternoon sampling exceptional flavours and exquisite wines sourced from local providers and the renowned Granite Belt region and beyond. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Bayside’s finest waterfront location, this event guarantees to captivate your taste buds and introduce you to a diverse array of delicacies that are sure to become your new favourites.

What to expect

WINE | Sample a selection of exceptional wines from renowned vineyards. Wine experts will be on hand to guide you through the tasting experience. 

If you’re really into your wine, we will be offering a Wine Master Class in the Girdis Room focused on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and led by Andrew Vesey of Castelli Estate Wines.

Castelli Estate – Denmark, Western Australia

Set on the side of a hill overlooking the southern coast of Australia, Castelli Estate is arguably one of Western Australia’s most beautiful wineries. The Tudor-style architecture of the winery, complete with stone walls and atmospheric underground barrel hall, is a contrast to the state-of-the-art winemaking facilities within.

Our winery is partially operated with renewable energy. A dedicated solar generation system reduces our reliance on traditional energy sources, particularly during the busy vintage period.

Castelli Estate is also a peaceful and stylish retreat with accommodation, cellar door, versatile function capacities and in-house restaurant, emphasising Italian regional specialties with locally sourced ingredients.

The view beyond the white wooden and stone fence is a patchwork of paddocks, each framed by gum trees. Mt Shadforth is a stone’s throw to the south-west. Across the valley, Wilson Inlet provides low, flat, calm transition from land to sea. Beyond is 3,450 kilometres of Southern Ocean to Antarctica.

  • Glazed Ham off the bone rolls with condiments – $15
