You’re invited to have your say in the future of Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS).  Our Board and Leadership Team have been working in the background to develop a variety of design concepts for our RQYS Master Plan with a 25 year horizon towards 2050.

It is the aim of the Board of Directors to finalise and publish this Manly Master Plan for the RQYS AGM in July.   With your input and continued engagement, we intend to develop a robust design to incorporate the future requirements of our Members, including on water and land facilities.

To ensure a Master Plan which incorporate the needs now, and into the future, for all demographics of our broad membership base we need you.   On Saturday 17^th May 2025 we invite all RQYS Members to  this Master Planning Member Consultation Day in the Girdis Room from 9am – 1pm.

The event will host repeated presentations on four initial design schemes, which will be on display for your review.  Four information stations will be set up around the room to enable Members to view and discuss specifics of each design scheme, ask questions and give thoughts on each one.  It is also a valuable opportunity to provide your input into what may have been missed and what you feel is unnecessary.

This is your opportunity to help design the future of RQYS.  We need as many Members to take the time to visit at some point during the morning and provide valuable input.  The more input we receive, the more diversity of thought and suitable outcomes delivered.

Join us between 9am and 1pm and enjoy a champagne buffet brunch of hot and cold finger food as you peruse the first schematic drawings for our beloved Squadron.
