Diesel and Unleaded fuel is available, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club can be used to purchase fuel. No member discount applies when using Eftpos/Credit Card. When using the credit card facility you will be required to use your 4 digit PIN (related to that specific card). Should you have any problems please contact your card issuer or bank.
Members can receive a discount on fuel if they have an account authority held with the Squadron. You must also provide a 4 digit PIN number to activate this service onto your member card. There is an intercom on the right hand side of the terminal if you require any assistance during business and trading hours (Monday– Sunday). Members using this method will receive a 5 cent per litre discount.
Unleaded petrol is available from a hose reel on the fuel pontoon or from a bowser on land. Selection between these two points is achieved by responding to prompts on the card reader display panel. Diesel is only available on the fuel pontoon. The system will shut down automatically if no fuel is delivered for a period of approximately 30 seconds. It is possible to restart the system after this delay.
Emergency shut down buttons are located on the card reader console, on the land end of the fuel jetty and on the power box between the Fuel and the Bill Kirby Jetty. Fire extinguishers and a fire hose are located on the Fuel Pontoon. Please remember that mobile phones should not be used when using the fuel system.
The Squadron’s fuel system is automated for use 24 hours per day. It is activated using member access cards and/or touch tags in conjunction with a PIN number. Diesel and unleaded fuel is available. Members wishing to use their touch tags may arrange for one or both of their tags to be activated for use with the system by contacting the office. Members wishing to purchase fuel using this system must have a direct transfer authority lodged with the Squadron.
