RQYS Opening Day 2017 – THIS SATURDAY!

Open Day? No. Opening Day!

We invite all Members, their guests and bona fide visitors to join us this Saturday, 9th of September 2017 for the Opening Day of the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron’s 133rd Sailing Season.

Opening Day is a celebration of the commencement of the Sailing Season. This is of course a very important occasion, as it signifies the beginning of our multitude of sports activities and events that we run throughout the year.

Additionally, Opening Day is a time to celebrate the essence of what makes RQYS great – as an institution of 133 years, with 4,100 members who support us each and every year and to celebrate the Squadron’s achievements locally, nationally and internationally.

Ultimately, it’s a celebration of all things boating at the RQYS – be it recreational, racing, power and sail – we look forward to celebrating with you this Saturday!
