Crew for Walkabout (Halberg Rassy 45)
I’m looking for crew for a cruise to Great Keppel Island stopping at Lady Musgrave and various other points on the way. Departure is currently set for August 5th weather pending returning on the 26th or 27th August. Some offshore experience preferred. Shared expenses. If needed one – two weeks into the trip you can be dropped off at Yeppoon to fly home as my son is joining me in Yeppoon for the trip back.

Crew for Mayfair (Jeanneau 409)
Currently have a small core group that have sailed Mayfair since new (Oct 2011) and now looking for crew who are interested in not just making up the numbers and would like to learn or better still share the experience. We sail most RQ races and the combined club, Kingfisher night races. Mayfair has sailed in the last two Brisbane to Gladstone and the Keppel race last year. Mayfair will be planning to race both the Keppel and the Airlie beach race week. We sail WAGS most weeks as well.

Keelboat Crew Wanted – ‘No Secrets’
‘No Secrets’ is a Dehler 34, IRC rated, cruiser/racer now located at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron. Its owner Tony Shaw, has over 30 years’ experience in keelboat racing both inshore and offshore, and has sailed on board winning yachts in a number of State (NSW), National and International Championship series’ and events including the Sydney-Hobart Yacht Race. Tony would like to build a crew for ‘No Secrets’ that will be capable of winning races in the Club’s divisional racing program and is seeking to fill the following positions:
Genoa & Spinnaker Trim (2),
Navigator (split role),
Whilst substantial experience is not required, several positions would be best filled by someone who has spent at least two seasons in a similar role. Graduates from the RQYS Keelboat Racing Program and/or Sailing Academy are welcome to express interest.
Silver card essential.
Prospective crew should be in a position to commit to a number of ‘on water’ team development sessions before the yacht will be entered into the Club’s formal racing programs.
