SYNOPTIC SITUATION
A high over the Tasman Sea extended a firm ridge onto the southern and central
coast of Queensland. The high is expected to weaken during the week.

FORECAST FOR MORETON BAY
Tuesday until midnight: Wind: E/SE winds 10/15 knots, reaching 15/20 knots at
times during the day. Winds tending S/SE over the western and southern bay
early. Sea: 0.9 of a metre. Showers, more isolated in the afternoon.
Wednesday: Wind: E/SE 10/15 knots. Sea: 0.7 of a metre. Isolated showers.
Thursday: Wind: SE/NE 10/15 knots.

DOUBLE ISLAND POINT TO POINT DANGER
Tuesday until midnight: Wind: E/SE 15/20 knots, reaching 20/25 knots at times
north of Cape Moreton in the morning. Lighter S/SE winds inshore early. Sea: 1.7
to 2.2 metres. Swell: E/SE 2 to 2.5 metres. Showers, more isolated in the
afternoon.
