Introduction To Sailing
This course follows the Basic Skills 1 & 2 syllabus of the Yachting Australia “Get Into Small Boat Sailing” Scheme.
This course will provide students with all the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and competently sail a small dinghy in moderate weather conditions. It is a Yachting Australia Accredited course and thus, is recognised nationwide. Upon completion, participants will understand how to control and manipulate the different parts of the boat in order to create power and momentum on the water. The course also touches on other essential areas including weather, tides and other general safety procedures and rules.
This course is ideal for anyone wanting to get into sailing, and is also a great way to learn the basics before doing a yachting course.

Suitable for: Ages 13 -> 80
