It’s all over. Congratulations to NEW ZEALAND and The Hutchins School (TAS) and all the competitors on a great regatta.

Racing is going well!!! A few breakdowns today, but other than that its perfect sailing.

Thursday 1220 hours
Racing for Day Two of the Interdominion Secondary School Team Racing Championship commenced on time today at 1000 hours. Racing was halted yesterday afternoon at 1400 due to a severe storm warning that was issued for South East Queensland which included the waters the teams were racing on.

Thursday 1115 hours
Racing is well and truly underway for Day 2. Much nice conditions than yesterday!!! A beautiful 10 knot north easterly is on the course.

Wednesday 1445 hours
AP over A is now flying on the official flag pole. No more racing today. The wind and sea conditions were pretty intense but the sailors were handling it well. Once the severe storm warning was issued the decision to bring them home was made. Photos coming soon.

Wednesday 1205 hours
The six teams vying for the podium position in the 2009 Interdominion Secondary Schools Team Racing Championship are currently racing on the waters of Waterloo Bay east of Brisbane city in the suburb of Manly. The top three Australian Teams and top three New Zealand Teams will fight it out in team racing style over the next three days aiming to finish as the champion nation. The teams are racing in the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron owned Pacer dinghies and the regatta is proudly sponsored by Westpac Business Banking.

Racing is underway in consistent conditions. No real issues this morning – everything seems to be going well.

Wednesday 0935 hours
The breifing is over and the teams are heading out to the race area. Racing commences at 1000 hours. The forecast for today’s racing is perfect with 10/15 knots from the NE/NW.
